It is important to learn how to distinguish facts from opinions so that you can argue and evaluate the information that comes your way.

WHAT IS A FACT?

Objective information, describes reality and is traceable/verifiable.

E.g. President Masaryk had a horse named Hector.

WHAT IS AN OPINION?

Subjective, untraceable/unverifiable.

E.g. The best horse is a brown horse.
