Our project, ‘Enhancing Media Literacy Education in the Czech Republic,’ is a collaborative effort with the Norwegian organization Apenhet, supported by the Financial Mechanism of Norway 2014 \u2013 2021 as part of the CZ-Internal Affairs Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a key component of this initiative, we have meticulously curated a list of recommended resources that educators can leverage for their Media Literacy classes. These resources have been thoughtfully reviewed and come from reputable organizations with extensive experience in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within this collection, you will discover a wealth of materials ready for immediate use, as well as inspiration derived from classes, workshops, and digital materials crafted by seasoned experts in the field<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Be internet awesome<\/a><\/strong> is an online interactive game for children to learn basic rules on how to act online in a safe and ethical way. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Get Media Lit<\/a><\/strong>, offers free Comics for Social Emotional Learning and Digital Citizenship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Free tool<\/a><\/strong> allowing children and pedagogues to understand how the algorithms work and how they influence our decision making, emotions and interactions online  <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Digital Citizenship curriculum<\/a><\/strong> offers video manuals and trainings explaining different aspects of digital citizenship. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Set of workshops and tools<\/a><\/strong>, helping pedagogues with teaching media literacy and developing fact checking skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Free interactive digital material<\/strong><\/a>s<\/a>, <\/strong>including methodology for the teachers providing with easy-to-prepare professional classes on  media literacy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Full curriculum for K-12 educators<\/a><\/strong>, to develop and utilize digital literacy skills created by the International Society for Technology in Education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Canadian Association for Media Literacy<\/a><\/strong> helps educators bring media literacy into the classroom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Resources for the teachers<\/a><\/strong> developed by Canadian Center for Digital Media Literacy provides with a diverse range of recommended materials covering various topics: from cyber security, addictions to media, or fact checking,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Center for Media Literacy (CML)<\/a><\/strong> is an educational organization that provides leadership, public education, professional development and evidence-based educational resources nationally and internationally. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. The News literacy<\/a> Project <\/strong>works with educators and journalists to give students the skills they need to discern fact from fiction in order to distinguish what information they can trust, share and act on.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
